We take great pride in offering life-changing financial support to families in need. We love working with organizations such as The God’s Child Project as they provide quarterly updates of the families we’ve sponsored throughout the years. Last year, we donated funds to help a family build a house. To our surprise, we received hand-drawn pictures from the children later that year. It warmed our hearts to know that family knew who we are and continued to develop a personal relationship.

This year, we decided to donate to La Asociacion Nuestros Ahijados, home to Casa Jackson Hospital for Malnourished Children, a Guatemalan charity that is part of The God’s Child Project. Guatemala suffers from chronic malnutrition more frequently and severely than any other Latin American country. According to estimates, nearly half of Guatemalan children between the ages of one and five are malnourished.

The mission of Nuestros Ahijados is to help the poor out of poverty. Casa Jackson Hospital for Malnourished Children has helped over 2,000 children recover from malnutrition and life-threatening starvation by providing intensive residential survival, medical, and long-term recovery care. Our Casa Jackson Hospital sponsored crib is currently being occupied by Estelita Carrera.
